Brick Barn

Located in a beautiful rural valley close to the historic town of Sandwich, Roseyard is a stunning holiday rental set across three agricultural farm buildings with a new rustic style Pool House & Spa. The brick barn has some beautiful original architectural features including double height spaces with huge oak beams & trusses, timber & brick columns, oversized crittall windows & old barn doors updated with glass. In January 2019 Gabriel was called in by the owners to create the interior design scheme for the development & working along side their excellent team the new spaces have been a huge success.

Mixing historic & modern paint colours with contemporary punchy fabrics the social spaces have a funky party feel whilst the bedrooms remain calm & relaxing. The ground floor is poured concrete throughout & this industrial look works beautifully with the bespoke charcoal grey kitchen complete with a glamorous copper splashback. An upper mezzanine with glazed balustrade, cocktail sofas & wood burner adds further elegance. The main dining table was made on site to seat 22 guests & overhead are huge lights made from the farm's original cattle feeders gold leafed by hand. As well as designing & specifying all the rooms Gabriel also sourced & commissioned art for the whole project.
