The SW London home of existing clients this tiny Georgian Cottage was updated & extended in 2017 to provide a new kitchen, laundry & bathroom. In the older part of the house the rooms were redecorated with historic colours & joinery to reflect the Georgian architecture.
Designed by Bentone Evans Architects the new space is flooded with light & opens onto a small garden beyond. Polished concrete floors contrast beautifully with the bespoke joinery in a palette of soft greys & inky blue black whilst the snug Laundry room is tucked in below the stairs divided from the main space by a bespoke glazed timber screen.
White oiled oak worktops & painted boarding with task wall ights & a cute corner bench seat make for a functional space for cooking & dining whilst the tiny bathroom has on trend floor tiles & modern fittings.
