The refurbishment and interior design of a 1911 Baillie Scott Arts & Crafts House set within the heart of an Oxfordshire village. This unusual Cotswold Stone house had loads of quirky character including original fireplaces, flagstone flooring, oak panelled rooms, hand forged ironmongery as well as some beautiful built in window seats, mullion windows & a stone roof. Whilst aiming to respect the unique architectural features of the house the clients also wanted to make the property work as a modern home for their young family.
Once the house had been totally repaired including all the original oak flooring, new bathrooms & bespoke tailored joinery fitted the whole house was then painted in a gentle palette of colours with bold botanical fabrics used to echo it's beautiful rambling garden.
