Set just back from a small pebbly cove on the beautiful West Dorset Coast the brief for this charming thatched Listed Cottage was for a friendly relaxed holiday home with plenty of light & a contemporary family feel whilst at the same time respecting the property's historic & quirky features. Using a palette of contemporary greys, local Purbeck stone floors, a bespoke kitchen,  reclaimed timber all mixed with modern & vintage furniture the finished cottage provided the clients with the perfect seaside holiday home & writing retreat. The client loved the finished house so much that we have since worked with them again on their main home in the South East.
